When You Reach MeWhen You Reach Me by Rebecca Stead

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I just finished reading WHEN YOU REACH ME by Rebecca Stead. It’s aimed at middle-grade and possibly high school aged readers, but I loved it. This is a wonderfully moving coming-of-age tale,

as well as a clever, inventive take on the whole Time Travel Paradox. It’s also a charming tribute/homage to Madeleine L’Engle‘s  A Wrinkle in Time. Definitely worth reading if you are or ever have been a misfit preteen science fiction geek. Or just a kid in a crisis who didn’t know where to turn.
